As a senior manager with the McGraw-Hill group of companies, Stewart successfully led a number of operational improvement initiatives based on Lean Manufacturing principles and thinking, in which he is a certified trainer.
Stewart developed and implemented a strategic approach to continuous improvement, where improvements were guided by the overall corporate strategy. With Anderson Lyall, Stewart specializes in linking economics, markets, and processes to create a competitive advantage for clients. A key part of his work is helping clients to design and configure value chains which create the relative price and cost differentials that are at the heart of a competitive advantage.
